Nontoxic printmaking

All of the printmaking techniques I am using today are considered to be “nontoxic”. Inks and mediums are water based and cleanup is done basically with soap and water. The prints on this site are created utilizing the following processes: ImagOn intaglio type solar film laminated onto aluminum or steel plates, a saline sulfate etching process on aluminum or steel plates, encaustic paint on plexiglass, linocut chine colle, and monotype techniques (applying ink directly to a plate with rollers or brushes). All of these processes are discussed or will be discussed in Posts. See print gallery or experimental printmaking posts.
